PARTICIPATION OF RADMILA ŠEKERINSKA AT THE PRESENTATION OF THE TRANSITION REPORT 2011 OF THE EUROPEAN BANK FOR RECONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT (EBRD)
The Chairperson of the National Council for European Integration, Ms. Radmila Šekerinska, will participate at the presentation of the transition report 2011 of the European bank for reconstruction and development, that will be held in the EBRD Headquarters in London on 15 November 2011.
The presentation of the main findings of the report will be made by the EBRD’s Chief Economist Erik Berglof. Ms. Šekerinska will take part in the discussion, together with many other distinguished contributions including Mr. Gordon Bajnai - Former Hungarian Prime Minister, Mr. Oraz Jandosov - former Primer Minister of Kazakhstan, and Ms. Anna Andreenkova - head of the research institute CESSI (Institute for Comparative Social Research) in Moscow.
This year’s EBDR report, entitled “Crisis and Transition: The People's Perspective”, focuses on the reform progress and economic developments in 29 countries from Central Europe and Central Asia during the 2008-10 crisis and its longer-term implications from a new perspective - that of households and individuals.
