ANA PAVLOVSKA DANEVA MET WITH PAULO MONTEIRO
On request of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ms Ana Pavlovska Daneva - Chairperson of the Parliamentary Group of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia for Cooperation with the Parliament of the Portuguese Republic, today had a meeting with Mr. Paulo Monteiro - editor and cultural activist from Portugal.
The goal of the meeting was to strengthen and intensify the bilateral cooperation and promote closer cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries. Both sides agreed that the focus should be on exchange of views and experiences in the field of parliamentary work, education, culture, human rights, the functioning of the parliamentary institute, and other issues of mutual interest.
The Chairperson of the Parliamentary Group of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia for Cooperation with the Parliament of the Portuguese Republic Ms. Ana Pavlovska Daneva pointed out the great interest among the Macedonian parliamentarians for cooperation with the Portuguese Parliament and that the best approach would be to establish relations between the members of the Parliamentary Group for Cooperation with their colleagues from Portugal and then work on strengthening of the cooperation in other fields.
