STATEMENT OF THE PRESIDENT VELJANOSKI ON THE OCCASION OF ANNOUNCING THE EARLY ELECTIONS FOR MEMBERS OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA

I have ratified the Decree on Early Elections for Members of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, which will be held on 27 April 2014, in other words in the same day of the second election cycle of the Election for the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Trajko Veljanoski, if the President is not elected in the first election cycle.

Address of the vice president Jakimovska at the OPENING of the 51st mavrovo memorial in nordic skiing

I am pleased by the fact that as a sign of well organized competitions so far, the Mavrovo Memorial grew from Balkan- regional Cup into Continental- European Cup, acknowledged by the International Ski Federation (FIS) and that our Cup is among the most important cups of this kind in Europe.

Meeting of the president veljanoski and the Members of the german bundestag, Mr. Johanes Sele and Mr. Josip Juratovik

The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Trajko Veljanoski expressed his pleasure for the meeting and the opportunity to discuss important topics for the Republic of Macedonia and EU with his colleagues from the German Bundestag. The President Veljanoski underlined that the cooperation between the two states is characterised with friendship and understanding, but that greater parliamentary cooperation is needed.

Address of the President Veljanoski on the occasion of marking the tenth anniversary of the demise of the President of the Republic of Macedonia Boris Trajkovski

10 years have gone by since 26 February 2004, the day when the President Boris Trajkovski tragically lost his life. His close associates also lost their lives in the accident: Dimka Ilkovska – Boshkovik, Risto Blazevski, Anita Lozanovska, Mile Krstevski, Boris Velinov, Ace Bozinovski as well as the pilots Marko Makrovski and Branko Ivanovski.

The President Veljanoski welcomed the IPS Scholarship Students

The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Trajko Veljanoski as patron of the International Parliamentary Scholarship (IPS) Program of the German Bundestag, welcomed this year’s scholarship students from the Republic of Macedonia: Ivana Vaseva and Dejan Chupovski, headed by the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Macedonia, H.E. Ms. Gudrun Steinacker.

THE PRESIDENT VELJANOSKI WELCOMED THE AMBASSADOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF ITALY TO THE REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA, MR. ERNESTO MASSIMINO BELLELLI

The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Trajko Veljanoski underlined that the Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of Italy have excellent bilateral cooperation. Yet, the interlocutors agreed that greater parliamentary cooperation is needed, not only on the level of Speakers, but also on the level of parliamentary groups for cooperation and committees.

JOINT MEETING OF THE COMMITTEE ON EUROPEAN AFFAIRS AND THE NATIONAL EUROPEAN INTEGRATION COUNCIL

 The Committee on European Affairs and the National European Integration Council held a Joint Meeting, on which the National Program for the Adoption of the Acquis, Revision 2014 was debated and an opinion thereof was adopted.
