PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT THROUGH THE EXCHANGE OF EXPERIENCES

In order to strengthen the administrative capacities and international cooperation, in November 2016, the staff from the Department of Education and Communication/ Research library and legislative archive in the Parliamentary Institute, made a study visit to the Federal Assembly of the Swiss Confederation.

During the visit, the services offered by the Parliamentary Institute were presented first, further the hosts shared their experiences regarding the information about the overall organization of parliamentary visits, they presented the initiative for political education of students in secondary schools, the Political Forum (Polit-Forum des Bundes) of the Swiss Confederation was presented, which is a joint project of the Federal Assembly and the Federal Council, the work of the parliamentary library was presented as well as the PR strategy for bringing the work of the Federal Assembly closer to citizens and so on.

Through interactive sessions and workshops, the method and functioning of the Visitors Center was discussed, the Bulletin of the Federal Assembly was presented, the presentation "From business intelligence to political intelligence" was given, the media work of the Assembly was presented and their Media Center was visited, their website was presented, a presentation on information management was given etc.
