INFORMAL MEETING OF THE PRESIDENT XHAFERI AND THE REPRESENTATIVES OF THE MEDIA  

Today, the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Talat Xhaferi had an informal meeting with the representatives of the Media. 

The meeting was pleasant and sincere, and the journalists had the opportunity to directly pose questions to the President Xhaferi.

The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Talat Xhaferi  gifted New Year's Presents to the pupils of the Special Primary School "Idnina" and the Children at the University Clinic Centre - Oncology Department.

Visit of the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia to Municipality Pustec  

The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia expressed pleasure from the opportunity to visit the Municipality Pustec and underlined the need for extension of the cross border cooperation, as a potential resource for the development of the infrastructure, economy and tourism.

Meeting of the President Xhaferi and the President of the Democratic Party of Albania, Mr. Lulzim Basha  

The President Xhaferi underlined that cherishing the good neighbourly relations with friendly Albania is important, since the two states share joint interests. In this context, the President Xhaferi underlined that the Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of Albania share the same strategic determination – overall integration in the European Union and all political stakeholders contribute thereof.

Meeting of the President Xhaferi and the president of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Ilir Meta 

 The meeting was held in a sincere and warm atmosphere, which is a sign of excellent bilateral relations between the two states, without open issues, which was the conclusion from the both sides.

The President Xhaferi officially visits the Republic of Albania  

Upon an invitation of the President of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Ramoz Ruçi, a Delegation of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia headed by the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Talat Xhaferi is officially visiting the Republic of Albania. The Delegation is comprised of the MPs, who are Members of the Parliamentary Group of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia for Cooperation with the Parliament of Albania: Mr. Ejup Alimi, Mr. Beti Rabadzieva, and Mr. Rexhep Memedi.

Meeting of the President Xhaferi and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, Mr. Péter Szijjártó

The president Xhaferi welcomed the guest and expressed pleasure from the friendly relations between the two states and concluded that the absence of open issues is a good foundation for building and further deepening of the cooperation on all levels, including the parliamentary level.

The President Xhaferi Honoured the demised King Michael I of Romania 

Today, the funeral of King Michael I of Romania was held in Bucharest with highest state and military honours.

The Delegation of the Republic of Macedonia, comprised of the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Talat Xhaferi and the Vice prime Minister Kocho Angjushev, accompanied by the Ambassador of the Republic of Macedonia to Romania, honoured the King at the religious ceremony held in the Royal Palace. Statesmen from Romania and abroad attended the Ceremony, including the King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden, Prince Charles of Wales, as well as royalties from Europe.

Meeting of the President Xhaferi and Mr. Vanino Kiti, Chair of the Committee on European Policies in the Sennate of the Republic of Italy 

The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Talat Xhaferi met the Chair of the Committee on European Policies of the Senate of the Republic Italy, Vanino Kiti. Evaluating the relations between the two states as friendly, the President Xhaferi expressed hope that the direct communication will be intensified in the future between the two Legislative Houses, both, on the level of Chairmen and on the level of Presidents of Parliament.
