Meetings of the President Xhaferi at the Margins of the Parliamentary Security Forum in Washington 

At the margins of the Parliamentary Security Forum in Washington, the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia met the Coordinator of the parliamentary group of the governing party GERB in the National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria, Mr. Cvetan Cvetanov.

Meeting of the President Xhaferi and the Congressmen David Price and Peter Roskam  

In the framework of the visit to Washington, the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Talat Xhaferi met the years- long friends of Macedonia, the Congressmen David Price and Peter Roskam. 

The two Congressmen underlined that they are honoured to meet the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia in Washington and to exchange views in a sincere and warm atmosphere.

The President Xhaferi participates in the Parliamentary Security Forum in Washington  

Upon an invitation from the Congressman Robert Pittinger, the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Talat Xhaferi participated on the Parliamentary Security Forum that was held in the U.S. Congress in Washington.

Business Dinner “Progress of Macedonia on the Democratic Path: Role of the Parliament” in honour of the President Xhaferi  

During the visit of Washington, the national Democratic Institute, in cooperation with the partners working in the Republic of Macedonia organized a dinner in the honour of the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Talat Xhaferi.

Meeting of the President Xhaferi and the State Department Director for South Central European Affairs, Mr. Matthew Palmer  

Today, in Washington D.C. the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Talat Xhaferi met Mr. Matthew Palmer, State Department Director for South Central European Affairs.   

The President Xhaferi expressed appreciation for the Meeting and the opportunity to meet a representative of the strategic partner, with whom the Republic of Macedonia builds excellent and dynamic bilateral relations.

Protocol Meeting of the President Xhaferi and H.E. Laszlo Istvan Dux, Ambassador of Hungary to the Republic of Macedonia

At the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged opinions on the bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two states, and the Ambassador Dux underlined that Hungary supports the Republic of Macedonia on the path to the European Integration.

Meeting of the President Xhaferi and the Director of the Dutch Constituency of the World Bank, Mr. Frank Dutch Constituency of the World Bank, Mr. Frank Heemskerk

The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Talat Xhaferi met Mr. Frank Heemskerk, Executive Director at the Board of the World Bank Group, Dutch Constituency, inter alia, authorised for the Republic of Macedonia. The Meeting was in the framework of his visit to the Republic of Macedonia. 

The President Xhaferi expressed appreciation for the continuous assistance of the World Bank to the Republic of Macedonia in the past decades. The Bank is an active supporter of the reforms in the key sectors which require major financial allocations, such as transport, infrastructure, local self – governance and the future projections of the current government.

Meeting of the President Xhaferi and the Minister on Defence of Montenegro, Mr. Predrag Boshkovic 

The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Talat Xhaferi met the Minister on Defence of Montenegro, Mr. Predrag Boshkovic in the framework of his two day official visit to the Republic of Macedonia.

Welcoming the guest, the President Xhaferi underlined that the intensification of the visits on highest level demonstrates the strong political will of both sides for deepening the overall bilateral relations and is an example for successful bilateral cooperation in the Region.

The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Talat Xhaferi had a meeting with Ms. Laura Cooper, Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense of USA, who is officially visiting the Republic of Macedonia. The Ambassador of USA to the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Jess Baily attended the Meeting.
