Afet Mamuti
Born in Tetovo, on 12 November 1975. Finished “Kiril Pejcinovic” High School in Tetovo; graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University in Tirana - Civil Law Department. Master’s Degree in Legal Sciences on 27 September 2007. In 2008/2009 academic year enrolled in the Doctor’s Studies at the Faculty of Law in Prishtina. Since 1 October 2003 works as Assistant at the Faculty of Law at the State University in Tetovo. Since 2009/2010 teaches civil law at the Faculty of Law at the State University in Tetovo.
Working experience and other professional qualifications:
- In November 2006 he was elected Acting Vice-Dean of Student Issues at the Faculty of Law,
- In 1999 worked in American NGO IMC (International Medical Corps).
- In 2004 engaged as lecturer at the Training Centre for Administration within the EU Program Pace I and Pace II, financed by the British Council.
- In 2005 engaged by the British Council as lecturer in the Training Centre for Judicial Interpreters and State Administration in Skopje in legal issues ,
- Vice President of the Committee on Mandatory, Election and Appointment Issues of the Municipal Council of Tetovo from 2005-2009,
- In 2005 attended English language courses in Oxford House College, in Oxford – England,
- On 25 August 2008 he was elected as Deputy Secretary General of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia,
- From 19 to 30 October 2008 he was in Washington in the House of Representatives of the American Congress for training organized by the House Democracy Assistance Commission (HDAC).
