14TH MEETING OF THE COMMITTEE ON RELATIONS AMONG THE COMMUNITIES
Today the Committee on Relations among the Communities held its 14th Meeting. The only item on the agenda was the incident at the Kale Fortress in Skopje and its effect on the inter-ethnic and inter-religious relations in the Republic of Macedonia.

THE CHAIRMAN OF THE COMMITTEE ON FINANCING AND BUDGET, MR. JOVAN MANASIJEVSKI HAD A MEETING WITH THE DIRECTOR OF THE OFFICE OF THE WORLD BANK IN THE REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA, MS. LILIA BURUNCHUK
Ms. Burunchuk informed that there is an opinion in the future- instead of providing direct budget support, the World Bank to provide guarantee for the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, thus providing loans from the market of capital with much lower interest. The Members of the Committee on Finance and Budget underlined the need for a Meeting of the Committee on Finance and Budget on which the plans and the activities of the World Bank will be presented for the current and for the three following fiscal years. The approved credits from the World Bank for financing the projects in the area of infrastructure were said to be especially useful for the development of the Republic of Macedonia
