Address of the President Veljanoski at the Second Plenary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the South East European Cooperation Process

On behalf of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia and on my personal behalf, I would like to express appreciation to the Parliament of the Republic of Albania and to the Speaker of the Parliament, Mr. Ilir Meta for the successful parliamentary contribution to the South East European Cooperation Process, especially the excellent organization of this plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly.

It is my great pleasure to address before you at the beginning of the Session of the Parliamentary Committee on the framework of the Parliamentary Dimension of the Central European Initiative, one of the oldest regional organizations in Europe, Today, CEI gathers 18 states, out of which 10 are member states of the European Union.

 The President Veljanoski met the host of the Spring Session, the Speaker of the Hungarian National Assembly, Mr. László Kövér. The thus far successful parliamentary cooperation and great friendship between the states was underlined.

Address of the President Veljanoski on the Occasion of 110 Years since the Death of Nikola Karev  

It is an honor to speak on the different aspects of our famous Macedonian history.  
The honor is great because of the deeds left to us by our heroes, and even more, because of the opportunity, reminding ourselves to the past, to learn lessons for the presence and our future! Macedonia would not have been what is today without the people who sacrificed themselves before the altar of freedom.
Generations of heroes from all historic era and all towns of our suffered motherland are embodied in the basis of our state independence.
