MEETING BETWEEN PRESIDENT XHAFERI AND FRENCH AMBASSADOR BAUMGARTNER

Today, the President of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia, Talat Xhaferi, received in his first official visit, the newly appointed Ambassador of the French Republic to the Republic of North Macedonia, H.E. Cyrille Baumgartner.

MEETING BETWEEN PRESIDENT XHAFERI AND MEP ANDREAS SCHIEDER

The President of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia, Talat Xhaferi, met with the Chair of the Delegation to the EU-Republic of North Macedonia Joint Parliamentary Committee, the Austrian MP Mr. Andreas Schieder.

Firstly, President Xhaferi expressed deep condolences for the November 2 events in Vienna and condemned the terrorist attacks as acts of terror that have neither nation nor religion.

VIRTUAL MEETING BETWEEN PRESIDENT XHAFERI AND MEPs SCHIEDER, KYUCHYUK AND WALSMANN

The President of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia Talat Xhaferi had a virtual consultation meeting today with MEPs Andreas Schieder, Marion Walsmann and Ilhan Kyuchyuk as facilitators for the Jean Monnet Dialogue process. The meeting was of a wider format and included the coordinators of the parliamentary groups and representatives of the political parties represented in the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia: Nikola Micevski, Jovan Mitreski, Arber Ademi, Surija Rashidi and Kastriot Rexhepi. The Secretary General of the Assembly, Cvetanka Ivanova was also present at the meeting.

MEETING BETWEEN PRESIDENT XHAFERI AND AVDULLAH HOTI, PRIME MINISTER OF THE REPUBLIC OF KOSOVO

The President of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia, Talat Xhaferi, had a meeting today with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti, in the framework of his official visit to the Republic of North Macedonia. The Delegation included Driton Selmanaj, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government and Meliza Haradinaj-Stublla, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo.

MEETING BETWEEN PRESIDENT XHAFERI AND MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT BALLA AND STERJOVSKI

The President of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia, Talat Xhaferi, met today with a mixed delegation from the Republic of Albania, including current MPs from the Albanian Parliament, Taulant Balla and Vasil Sterjovski, and the Mayor of Prrenjas, Nuri Belba and businessman Gjergj Luca.

MEETING BETWEEN PRESIDENT XHAFERI AND H.E. VIOREL STĂNILĂ

The President of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia, Talat Xhaferi, had a farewell meeting today with the Ambassador of Romania, H.E. Viorel Stănilă.

President Xhaferi thanked for the cooperation with the Embassy of Romania in the Republic of North Macedonia and Ambassador Stănilă personally for his contribution to the Euro-Atlantic path of the country. He expressed satisfaction and stressed that the commitment and personal dedication of the Ambassador as a representative of the Embassy contributed greatly to the advancement of relations between the two countries and the mutual support on a bilateral and multilateral level.

MEETING BETWEEN PRESIDENT XHAFERI AND COMMISSIONER OLIVÉR VÁRHELYI

The President of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia, Talat Xhaferi, met today with the European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement, Olivér Várhelyi, as part of his working visit to the country.

President Xhaferi expressed pleasure at meeting Commissioner Várhelyi again this year and special gratitude for the good news coming from Brussels on the progress of the Republic of North Macedonia in the European integration process. He stressed that the Assembly has fulfilled its obligations within the reform process in the previous term and expressed hope that the activities, in cooperation with the opposition, will continue at an unabated pace as before.

MEETING BETWEEN PRESIDENT XHAFERI AND H.E. HASAN MEHMET SEKIZKÖK

The President of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia, Talat Xhaferi, met today with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey, H.E. Hasan Mehmet Sekizkök. At the meeting, mutual satisfaction was expressed with the excellent bilateral relations and the successful cooperation between the two countries, in the spirit of traditional friendship and partnership.

MEETING BETWEEN PRESIDENT XHAFERI AND ROSSANA DUDZIAK

The President of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia, Talat Xhaferi, met today with the UN Resident Coordinator in Republic of North Macedonia, Rossana Dudziak. Information and ideas were exchanged at the meeting on how to deepen cooperation between the United Nations and the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia, especially in regard with the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals.
